Montr\u00e9al, le 27 juin 1896, le Fran\u00e7ais Louis Minier, concessionnaire des c\u00e9l\u00e8bres fr\u00e8res Lumi\u00e8re, organise la premi\u00e8re projection cin\u00e9matographique \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al, la premi\u00e8re au Canada et deux jours avant New York. Il s'agissait de la premi\u00e8re projection en salle, une projection en plein air avait \u00e9t\u00e9 tent\u00e9e \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 de l'immeuble Robillard 1 mois plus t\u00f4t mais avait \u00e9chou\u00e9.<\/p>\n
